If the calculations of the financial experts come in and the banks were fast enough, on June 15, the first home loan recommended by the Winners Bank will arrive on the market. The question is whether we will succeed in meeting the central bank's criteria for credit institutions.
Internationally, commercial banks are still very expensive to lend to the population, says the Winners Bank, and to prevent this from happening, it will introduce a consumer-friendly home loan rating from June, which banks' credit structures can gain if they meet the central bank's strict criteria.
Consumer-friendly home loans were also surrounded by the Red Core, and we found that there are already credit products in the domestic palette that partially meet the MNB's expectations, at least in terms of the most important component, the interest margin.
And if it fails?
In our analysis at the time, we wrote that there is already a bank that wants to appear first on the market with a qualifying home loan, which means that, given the bidding period beginning on June 1 and the 15-day central bank appraisal period, this is the first.
However, according to the Winners Bank's briefing and newspaper reports, banks are not yet rushed for the opportunity: on the one hand, everyone wants to submit a perfect bid, as the central bank may call on the financial institution to fill a gap. As a result, banks tend to be slower to prepare, but may submit better tenders later.
What do you do that would definitely go down on cheaper credit?
Even if the first consumer-friendly home loan arrives on the market on Thursday, it's worth staying cool and not rushing to the bank right away. It is almost certain that financial institutions will not leave the potential of rating behind, and in time everyone will come up with their own construction, which - MNB criteria here or there - may be better than their competitors.
Even if it is not summer, but in the fall they will surely be overwhelmed by the new consumer-friendly offerings, so whoever borrows to achieve your home goals, it is wise to wait a bit and carefully consider what kind of construction you really need.
