• Veterans Park Memorial Car Show: 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, July 17, at the Reed City Scout Building, 223 E. Fifth Ave., Reed City. The Reed City Crossroads Car Club is hosting a charity car show to raise funds for the Veterans Memorial Park in Reed City. Registration is from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. judgment begins at noon. • The Bob Marshall group: 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, July 17, at the Evart farmer’s market, 200, rue Main Sud, Evart. Bring a lawn chair for a free country and western concert.

• Michigan Country Music Hall of Fame Country and Gospel Music Benefit Show: 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 25, at 11767 80th Ave., Mecosta. The outdoor show features music from Hall of Fame members and special guests, 50/50 drawing, and food. Bring your own garden chairs. The MCM Hall of Fame video wall will be on display.

• Spectrum Health Charity Golf Classic: 8 a.m. Monday August 16 at Tullymore Golf Resort, 11969 Tullymore Drive, Stanwood. Proceeds will be used to subsidize TytoCare, a virtual health technology, for Spectrum Health Big Rapids and Reed City hospitals. • Tai chi: Noon on Wednesdays at Hemlock Park. Improves muscle tone, flexibility, balance and coordination. New arrivals are welcome. brpr.org.

• Free food pickup at the wheel for students: 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday through August 24 at Crossroads Charter Middle / High, 215 W. Spruce St., Big Rapids. A free seven-day supply of breakfast and lunch for all children and adolescents 18 and under, regardless of school district, and students up to 26 years of age enrolled in a disability education program mental or physical. Meal kits must be ordered every Tuesday between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. by sending an email to [email protected]

• Mecosta Co. Genealogy Society: Open 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every other Saturday at 424 N. Fourth Ave., Big Rapids, next to Recycle. • Pantry of the Lord’s Table: 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays at Faith Community Church, 610 Green St., Big Rapids. Everyone is welcome.

• Morley Community Center: The center, located at 151 7th St., Morley, hosts a weekly pickleball, open gym, indoor garage sales and outdoor market, in addition to a monthly ancestry class, a craft evening and a blood drive.
